CoreTemp RC3 Will Not Load?

Post by kcraptor82 »

Okay, so I have used this software on various machine, and I love it, but for some strange reason it will not load on one of my laptops. I can download the 32 bit zip and load the exe from the zip file, but when I extract the files into a folder,it won't load. I have even tried the installer, and still the software refuses to load! Does this software require any requirements like .net, or whatever to make it work? I find it strange it won't load on this system, but yet it will load on everything else I have put it on. Thanks

Core Temp has no dependencies except very old OS versions, as Win2k and XP SP1.
Do you see Core Temp in Task Manager?
When you say you can start it from the zip but not from a folder, what happens when you try to start it?
