G15 applet startup issue

Post by mrwasabi »

Hi,
I've been using core temp for a while now and love it! thank you for a great little app!

I have core temp to start automatically and minimized, which it does fine, however it never starts the g15 applet automatically. I have to open the application and go to Tools --> G15 Applet --> enable.

When i do that for the first time, nothing happens, then i do it again, the applet is enabled. So every time i start my computer i have got into a ritual to open core temp, and enable the applet twice in order for it to work.
My current rig is Core i7 869, W7-64 bit, 8gb ram, ATI 4890, but this has happened on my old rig which was a core 2 duo.
Don't know if I'm alone with this, I've done some searching and haven't really come up with any results, so i figure id ask.

I am having the same problem. Ihave to open CoreTemp via Show/Hide, then enable the G15 applet twice for it to show up on the keyboard.

This problem occurs usually because the Core Temp process is started before the Logitech LCD manager.
The solution to this issue would be to apply a delay to the Core Temp Autostart task in Task Scheduler, to allow the Logitech utility to start before Core Temp is started.
