Does CoreTemp 1.0 also monitor GPU temperature?

Post by Will Pressley »

I ask because I have recently replaced the GPU thermal pad with a big drop of thermal compound. I am now uncertain whether this will be sufficient to keep the GPU cool or whether I need to re-open the whole thing again in order to use a thermal pad.

Thank you for your advice.

Core Temp was meant for CPU monitoring only, so no, the current version doesn't read GPU temperature.
GPU monitoring may be added in the future, and an announcement will be made on the home page and on the Facebook page.
