CPU Readings

Post by mroctober »

Got a new PC recently, wanted to check the CPU with Prime 95. I'm not a big gameer, the most strenuous thing the pc will be used for is editing HD videos from a tuner card and Firewire card I did a couple of tests using Core Temp, Real Temp and AIDA64. With Real and AIDA the max temp never got above 49c. With Core the max got to 102c, I did a second test and this time the min temp was 102c and max was only 39. The current temp with Core is 102c, Real and AIDA have it at 30c.

Intel Pentium Dual Core G620 6GB RAM, 2 SATA HDD, 1 SATA DVD Burner, Corsair 450w PSU, Raedeon HD4350, Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit

This is after running Prime for about 8 hours
