Missng File for CPPReader

Post by KKDJC »

Hi,

I downloaded your project and dll, compiled and tried to run it. However it complains as follows:
Error: Core Temp's shared memory could not be read.
Error number: 2
Error description: The system cannot find the file specified.
The name of the file it is trying to find is not specified. Could you please indicate what could be wrong?
The "Core Temp.exe" runs fine and contains just the info I want to integrate into my application. I have also tried putting the correct (32 bit) dll and .ini files all over (root, windows, system32 and in the exe directory) but to no avail.

Thanks for your assistance.

Hi,
I fooled around and started Core Temp.exe and the dll started working. Is there no way for tdll to run in standalone mode? I.e. not having to run Core Temp itself?

Regards.

No,
The DLL uses Core Temp's shared memory feature to read the data.
