VIA Chipset & Motherboard

Post by edren06 »

Hi there

I would like to use this application for KIOSKS that we are implementing although it does not seem to work with the VIA chipset/motherboard.

Kind Regards

VIA CPU's are not yet supported. I've tried to contact VIA for documentation of their processors but didn't get any replies.
I will try to contact them again sometime soon.

I will be watching the forums, if you manage to find something - or they send through the documentation, would you be able to let us know?

Kind Regards.

Seems like VIA doesn't feel like sharing or just plain ignores their customers requests/emails.
I've sent them another email a week ago and still have not gotten a reply...

Just wanted to give an update.

Next version of Core Temp will support VIA processors.

I'm now looking for users of VIA CPU based systems to help out with the testing process.
Right now I'm very interested in Nano and Nano x2 systems, so if you have a VIA system please post a CPU-z register dump (since current Core Temp doesn't run on VIA yet) and I will make sure that it works.
