Error when running "Driver failed to load..."

Post by DiskJunky »

The full message is;
---------------
cpuerror.jpg
---------------

What brought this about is me downloading the zip file from the main page, opening in WinRar and double-clicking the exe from with in the WinRar window. This ran the program perfectly fine. I then changed the Auto Protect setting to On and exited. Extracted the files from the zip to a folder and ran the exe again. This brought up the error. The message appears no matter how I run the program now.

System is;
WinXp SP3
2Gb RAM
250Gb Hard disk (30% free)

Any solutions?

Make sure that you're an Administrator in Windows, if you are then the problem is somewhere else.
Try to restart the system. It's possible that the driver has hung.

I'm a local administrator on the computer. As for the driver... why on earth would a driver hang? Don't bode well...

I'll let you know on the restart - I can't reboot at the moment
