i3 CPU Temps Wrong

I just put together a system with the Intel i3 530. The temps being reported in CoreTemp 0.99.5 (32 bit) are definitely wrong. It lists 82C and 2704F at idle. :eek:

I am using the onboard video as this is an HTPC. I have verified the correct readings should be around 30C - 35C by checking the BIOS right after a restart and through the ASRock OC Tuner application. Both of these are within a few degrees C.

The motherboard is an ASRock H55M Pro.

Do you have an update to fix this issue?

Please attach a screenshot and a register dump (from the Tools menu) and I'll take a look.

Oh I see what you mean now.
Right now you're simply seeing the distance to TjMax (the highest temp suggested by Intel), so basically the higher the better :)
I'll hurry up and try to release the newest version ASAP.

Same thing with i5 cpu M430 (Sony Vaio VPCEB1S1E/BJ)
