Two problems

Post by gharing »

Each time Core Temp is started it puts two files on my desktop ("Core Temp" & "Plugins") . I can delete them but of course that is a pain in the ass to have to do all the time.
This leads to the other problem. I figured something in downloading and setting up Core Temp went wrong so I want to delete it and start over BUT I cannot figure out how to delete it. Windows add/remove programs will not see it and a third party uninstaller also cannot see it.
So how do I remove it so I can do a reinstall. Please understand I just did a system relaod of XP pro. and before this was using Core Temp with no problems at all.
Thanks

You download Core Temp as a zipped archive. It has no installer, and it is recommended to extract it into a separate folder.
The INI files are configuration files and they are recreated with default settings if they are not found in the same location "Core Temp.exe" is in.
If you want to remove Core Temp, simply delete Core Temp.exe and the related ini files.
