Pb with Temp value on Acer Revo 3610 (Atom 330)

Post by pititalex »

Hi,
I wanted to monitor the Temp of all the Sensor of my mother board but i had different results regarding the CPU Cores Temp / MotherBoard Temp depending on the software used.
Your softawre provide the same results as Speedfan but they are differents from Everest Ultimate or Hardware Sensors Monitor Pro.
- For CPU Core 1, your Soft and SpeedFan provides 55°C while Everest Ultimate or Hardware Sensors Monitor Pro provide 75°C
- For CPU Core 2, your Soft and SpeedFan provides 55°C while Everest Ultimate or Hardware Sensors Monitor Pro provide 75°C
Which are true? You and SpeedFan or Everest Ultimate and Hardware Sensors Monitor Pro?
I need to know because 75°C is huge for a CPU i think while 55°C is acceptable.
Regards

For your information, GPU and HDD are always equal to 68°C and 42°C respectively not depending on the software used to monitor them.
=> it is that why i tought that 2 of the 4 Soft have difficulties to monitor Atom330 Temp.

Each software decides on it's own which TjMax value to use as a reference to calculate CPU temperature.
In Core Temp this varies, it can be 90C or 125C. I don't know what values other programs are using, so I can't say how accurate they are.
Either way, as long as you're 35C away from TjMax that temperature is ok.
