New AMD 605e on ASUS M4A78T-E shows wrong temp

Post by orbje »

The temp readings show between 4 and 8 degrees Celcius.
I have a good cooler, but this cannot be ok.

This seems to be like a thermal sensor issue, more than Core Temp.
There is always a certain offset between the real temperature and the temp reported by the CPU's built in sensor.
This delta varies between each processor and isn't available to the public, so it's impossible to tell you the actual temp.
