Cannot change the "Temp read intervall"

Post by Seven »

Hello The Coolest,

i am very happy with the program Core Temp exept this little bug,
that I cannot adjust the intervall time.
By default the update time for the shown taskbar value is 1 sec.
So it changes a lot (always 1 °C up or down).
It would be better for me to change it to lets say 5 or 10 seconds.

The problem:
I can delete the value in the settings window: "1000" ms
but I cannot edit it. I cannot write any number in this little field !

I use XP SP2.

Did you ever experience problems like it ?

I already found a workaround for it:
Simply edit in the file "coretemp.ini" the value für "ReadInt="
But why it doesnt work from the "settings" window in my case ?

Thank you for a short answer.

Regards,
Seven

Yes I have noticed that bug too, and some other people have reported it as well.
I'm kind of stumped and can't figure out where it's coming from, since it worked fine in an older version of Core Temp and I don't remember changing any code which could affect it.
I'll try to get it fixed when I have to time to deal with it. As this is not a critical bug, and also has a workaround I think we can live with it until I can resolve this issue.
