Is this a bug in 1.6?

Post by F0l2saken »

1.5 worked fine for me, upgrading to 1.6 gives me a strange screen like this, where it's a mixture of the setting I have it set at to show actual temp, and a setting I have turned off, which is show distance to TJ max, also several cores display no temp at all most of the time. Did not have this problem until upgrading to 1.6. In the below screenshot you can see core 6 shows temp in distance to TJ max while the rest show normal temp, and for the first hour, all bottom 3 cores read 0 degrees, they just now started reading temps.

I do not have the setting on to show the temp in distance to TJ max, it just kind of does that on its own now. If I close the program and re-open it it fixes it, but usually the issue occurs when 1.6 is started with windows on startup. I have windows 10 x64

I don't think it's a new bug. It has been there for at least a few releases.
I'm still not sure what causes it, but most of the time just pressing F5 to refresh Core Temp sorts it out.
