Tjmax keep changing value

Postby mikenumbnuts » Fri Jul 01, 2016 2:09 am

Hey guys,

I have been having this issue where my Tjmax value will constently change its value depending on what my overclock may be.

It ranges from 95c to 110c. My cpu is I7-5930K and my mobo is MSI x99a godlike gaming carbon.

Thanks and hope to here and answer soon to help me clear this up.

First time I hear about something like this.
It's possible that the BIOS may be able to overwrite this value in the CPU, and does so depending on your overclock.
I'm not sure what sort of effect it would have on temperature, as Core Temp relies on this value to calculate the core temperature.
