AMD X4 860K temperatures stuck on 16 degrees Celsius

Post by Nakedpengwin »

I downloaded Core Temp yesterday evening after hearing rave reviews of how simple and effective it is at monitoring CPU temperature.

I'm enjoying it so far, however, my CPU temperatures are stuck on 16 degrees Celsius.

My setup is the following:

MSI A68HM Grenade Motherboard
AMD X4 860K
Sapphire Radeon Nitro R7 360
8GB HyperX Fury DDR3 1866 RAM
Corsair VS 450 PSU
Windows 7 64 bit OS

I have an AMD X4 860K CPU, I haven't overclocked it, I'm going to run it as is.

Are there any settings which I need to change in order for Core Temp to read my temperatures correctly and report fluctuations in temperatures whilst I play Counter Strike Global Offensive?

If you need anymore information, just shout!

Best regards, Jonathan
