Core Temp Intel 980x Displayed as 9110X

Postby n00binator » Sun Mar 13, 2016 7:25 pm

My 980X i7 is recognised as 9110X although that the Processor Name String shows correctly in the Register Dump File. I know it is not a huge bug since it doesn't affect in any way how Core Temp functions, but I have been a huge fan of your CoreTemp tool and it really bothers my OCD. If there is an easy fix for it please let me know. I am also attaching the Dump File for your convenience.
Thank you in advance,

Thanks Aris,

It's a known issue with the first generation of i7s. It's been covered in this thread: viewtopic.php?f=62&t=2425&p=10451#p8965
