My laptop had a BSOD and Bluescreenview said it was caused by ALSysIO64.sys. http://www51.zippyshare.com/v/aC9J9acM/file.html
Here's what happened...I login to my laptop (it was running all night, coretemp runs 24/7) shortly after I get the BSOD. I didn't do anything before it happened other than logging in windows. The Coolest wrote:Did it happen after Core Temp has been running for a while or when you started it?
Have you tried running it again to see if it happens again?
I looked through the dump, but couldn't see anything that really stood out. It's possible that there was some sort of a freak conflict between several drivers.
The dump file points to coretemp being the culprit correct? No it was running all night as usual. It is never set to sleep. The Coolest wrote:Was the laptop off before you logged in or was it after sleep?
Either way, it could be a very specific coincidence. You are the first to report this problem, and I hope it doesn't occur again.
Well I updated to the latest version and will post again if anything weird happens. ThanksThe Coolest wrote:It's possible that the BSOD originated from something the driver has possibly did "wrong" when you signed in, sadly I just couldn't pin point exactly what it was.
