Core Temp 1.0 RC8 core 0

just updated to Core Temp 1.0 RC8, i have my four cores and RAM Used displayed in my system tray. since the update my core 0 is not showing, 1-3 and RAM Used are displaying fine. not sure whats up.
running windows 7 ult. everything was running fine on the last build.

Windows will reset the notification area settings when a program's version is changed.
You can expand the hidden icons and then drag the hidden icons out.

Win 8 Taskbar various behavior

My Windows 8 Taskbar sometimes doesn't show both RAM and temperature. But as it also often doesn't show the speaker icon, this is probably due to some quirk in that notification area rather than an ALCPU behavior. Is there a control panel somewhere in Win 8 for the notification area?
