Outdated driver

Post by ljames44 »

Core Temp would not run. I uninstalled it and tried to reinstall the program. I get an error message:
Warning

Currently loaded driver is out of date.

Make sure you do not have any other software from ALCPU running and try restarting Core Temp.

Core Temp will not continue.

How do I update the driver? I am reasonably certain I do not have any other ALCPU software running.
Thanks for any help anybody can give me to resolve this problem.

The driver binary in Core Temp is integrated into the executable. So you must have an older version of Core Temp running on your machine somewhere (maybe another user?).
Also make sure that your Core Temp directory doesn't have any SYS files in it.
