Getting Load Library error

First of all, hi. I'm new here.

On-topic: A few weeks ago, I tried installing .NET framework 4.0 using a deutsch installer I downloaded. After installing, the CoreTemp gadget stopped working and showed this message.

What I think that could be the problem is that the .NET framework installer came with the 2012 and 2013 Microsoft Visual C++ redistributable package. This auto-installed with .NET framework and that's when the problem started.

Can someone help me with this? I really need the gadget to work again because I mainly use CoreTemp to monitor my clockspeed while gaming.

The gadget requires 'functioning' .Net 3.5 to work correctly. If somehow installing .Net 4.0 messed .Net 3.5 on your system (or disabled/uninstalled it) the gadget will indeed stop working.
This is really the only thing I came across that had any impact on the gadget displaying said error.

So you're saying I should unistall .NET framework 4.0 and revert back to 3.5?

4.0 and 3.5 should work side by side without any problem. Check in Windows Components (under Programs and Features) that 3.5 is installed\enabled. Perhaps try to uninstall and reinstall 3.5 again.

It says here that .NET framework 3.5.1 is checked.

As I said, try to reinstall it. Uncheck, OK, make sure it finished applying the configuration (maybe even restart after that) then re-enable it and see what happens.
I have not had this sort of issue often and I haven't been able to determine what causes this sort of problem, so sadly I can't offer an actual 100% solution.
