Chrome blocks the download because of the InstallIQ installer which is rated like an unwanted application.
Some antivirus programs call it a virus already.

This issue is being sorted by InstallIQ with Google, the issue should be sorted out soon.
Most AV companies may flag an installer due to a single or a small number of problematic software causing headaches to everyone else.
It has now been cleared with Norton and work continues to clear it with the others as well.
As I've said before, this is a false positive.

I was able to download it with Firefox and Internet Exploder. :D I would recommend making a normal installer or a ZIP download that can't possibly get flagged as malware.

I found that I can recover the file in Chrome. This is what I get when I download Core Temp:

Chrome auto-updates, so I'm on the latest version.

Besides the Chrome block which I was able to bypass, I got stopped by Norton antivirus when I tried to install it. Norton stated that it contained a Trojan! I couldn't get passed this. I'm a long time user. Tilly Saint ;( ;(

Sadly the generalization which most AV companies apply to different installer packages sometimes harm legitimate software as well.
I'm working on getting this sorted out, and it has been taking longer than I would want it to, but there's not much I can do to speed it up any further.
While this problem is unresolved you can use the standalone version in More downloads.

Well, I've had severe XP problems since I attempted to install the latest versions of Core Temp. As I said in my previous posts that I got "Trojan" warnings from Chrome and Norton Internet Security. After restarting the next day after having no problems the previous day, I have symptoms that I've been attacked by a Trojan, It' also the opinion of several of my very technical friends.

I'm now in the process of trying to recover my system. Many services won't start. Although everything seems to initiate at start-up, the communications enable and I'm able to connect tho my home router, I can't do anything with web, etc. The Event Log is filled with red X errors e.g, IPSEC,Error: 1075: The dependency service does not exist or has been marked for deletion. See others below.

Currently, I'm not hammered by a lack of resolutions to try. I must say my problems look like it was caused by the new version of Core Temp!

@tillysaint

This is most definitely unacceptable if the issue originated from some sort of malicious software getting through when you installed Core Temp. I take issues like this very seriously.
I have notified the offer provider and we need more information about the 'trojan' that was installed on your system. The installer depends on the computer being able to access the internet, so there is no interest what so ever for either of us to cause any user such severe problems.
Have you been able to resolve the issue or have you been able to find what the 'trojan' which caused the problem actually is?

I still haven't got the XP machine communicating with the web. Everything else seems to work OK up to being able to enable WiFi and connect to my router.

I'm still working through the red X event problems. I have resolved some of them. I believe some or most of the unsolved ones are related to a corrupted TCPIP. I've tried to re-install TCPIP and to apply several know fixes (e.g., WinSock Fix) without success and have more to try. I'm getting close to a re-install of XP or Windows 7.

The problems I'm trying to solve are : Event: 7003 Network Location Awareness, nonexistent TCPIP; Event 7003: IPSEC depends on TCPIP.

I haven't been able to identified a particular Trojan since there's so many that have the same characteristics of the problem I've encountered. I tried several virus/malware/rootkit programs including Norton, Malwarebytes, Spybot, Emsisoft, etc. They show some low issues. I reviewed their logs and sent them to some technical guys.

I have now solved all my Event Viewer red X problems. I'm running successfully with communications with the web.

I had several problems but I believe the main problem was that the TCPIP driver was corrupted (?)! It took awhile to get it repaired. I unsuccessfully tried earlier with several different scenarios to un-install/re install TCPIP including importing a XP copy of nettcpip. These weren't successful.

I then turned my attention to solving the other problems in the hope that I could help get the TCPIP going later. I then was successful in un-installing/re-installing nettcpip.inf.

Thanks for the update, I'm glad you got it working.
I will make sure to keep an eye out on similar issues in the future, but I have not had any other reports of such problems from anyone else.
Perhaps it was a freak coincidence?
