so I installed all cpu meter and core temp. the all cpu meter widget is telling me that core temp is not running.. witch is funny cuz core temp opens right up from the system try... any help on getting this issure resolved would be appreciated.

I'd suggest to first try the Core Temp gadget and see what error you get.
Also for the gadget to work you have to make sure that your system has .Net 3.5 installed.
