Core Temp constantly reading 71Degs C

Post by Blue Mountain Man »

Hi all,
Firstly, I would like to say Happy New Year to all of you. I hope everyone has a great new year. :D
Secondly, I have looked through the forums and used the search facility with various relative search criteria without successfully finding any other reports of this phenomenon. There are similar (0 degs), but their suggested fixes didn't seem to work or they didn't seem relevant to my setup/situation. Sorry if it was my poor searching that hasn't turned up a result (if there is one) that is there.

The Problem:
I am seeing only 71 degs C constantly for all cores (6 of) and the "Temperature Readings" section below.
The load & clock frequency seem to be OK, but all the temperature readings including Tj. Max, CPU #0, Min., and Max. all have 71, though the field CPU#0 also has the (?) after the 71.

Core Temp version is 1.0 RC6 - 64bit
My system consists of:
Main Board: Gigabyte GA-890FXA-UD5
Processor: AMD Phenom II X6 1100T running at its standard 3.3 GHz
RAM: 16.0GB
OS: Windows 7 64 bit Ultimate SP1

If you need any further details, I shall pass them on to you when I can.

Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Thanks in advance
