Intel Xeon CPU Wrongly Recognized as Core i3

Post by Solarys »

Apparently this program does not correctly recognize some Intel Xeon LGA1366 CPUs based on the 32 nm Westmere core.

For example, the Xeon X5698 I am running now shows up as "Core i3 5140 (Clarkdale)", a model that doesn't even exist.
All the specifications seem to be correct, except the name, and probably the Tj. Max value.

Please attach a register dump (Tools menu).
I'll see what the problem is and make sure it's fixed in the next release.
You should still be able to trust the temps, as that part should work the same way.
