I noticed something yesterday and today that is cause for concern. I recently build a custom pc and have been monitoring temps for a few weeks.
I'm running a very cool machine with FX 8350, lots of space and a lot of fans installed, the system is well ventilated and runs in a 23 degree celsius environment. My CPU temp is usually between 23C and 44C.
I leave my pc running when I'm not at home and I noticed yesterday that Core Temp registered a max temp of 192C, which shocked me as it never goes above 50, and even if it did, wouldnt the bios and/or overheat protection (which is enabled) automatically shut down the pc?
I left my pc on again today, came back home and again noticed the MAX temp to be exactly 192C again, while I had reset the ("Min./Max"). My question is, is this a bug or is this a system failure/freeze?
Core Temp shows 192 degrees C
Re: Core Temp shows 192 degrees C
Same here, only I'm getting max at 102. Should I freak out?
