Temps showing 0 after Windows 64bit Installation

Post by MrAnthology »

I've recently started using CoreTemp to monitor the temperatures of my Phenom II x6 1090t, and I've found it very useful. However, I just installed the 64-bit version of Windows 7, and now whenever I run CoreTemp, it tells me that the temperature is 0. [ CPU #0: 0°C (?) ]

It was working fine on 32-bit Windows, before I moved to 64-bit. I've also read that disabling ACC in my BIOS would work, but I can't seem to find it in mine. I've got a Gigabyte 990XA-UD3. I've also tried HWMonitor, and it gives me the same readings. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
MrAnthology

If you don't have ACC in the BIOS then you should have some kind of core unlocking feature. Make sure that you disable it.
