AMD Llano clock speed discrepancy

Post by bbbl67 »

Hi, I have an AMD Llano laptop, and Core Temp 1.0 RC3 shows the wrong CPU clock speed. It seems to think that the clock speed is exactly double of what it should be, but the multiplier seems to be right. Below, I've attached a screen cap of the readings from Core Temp, Core Temp Gadget, and CPU-Z for comparison.

It is a new bug in RC3, the frequency is doubled (the bus speed) on APUs.
It'll be corrected in the next release.

Would going back to an earlier release also work, in the meantime?

Previous releases had other problems that make them not really worth working with, especially on a laptop.
