Core Temp @ Display Fusion Don't mix

Post by xpac5896 »

I'm running a copy of Display Fusion (free 30 day at present am planning to buy) Ver 4.0. and Core Temp ver 2.7.
I noticed yesterday, 15 May 2012, that CoreTemp wasn't running, I had installed Display Fusion about a week ago and both were running then. I decided to dwnld a new version thinking maybe the one that I have was outdated and Core Temp was giving an Internal error message which reads "Can't read shared memory"? I installed the new Core Temp and again I got the Internal error message "Can't read shared memory". I then checked the error logs for any problems and none was reported.
After a while I decided to take a break and put my computer to sleep, after wakeing it up I noticed a Core Temp Icon on my Desktop (I usually delete these) I clicked on it and Core Temp started working but what I hadn't noticed was Display Fusion wasn't running (I added a Task Bar on my #2 monitor which I haven't gotten used to yet)that's how I noticed that Display Fusion wasn't running. So I started Display fusion today, 16 May 2012, and soon as I started Disply Fusion Core Temp stopped running and now I understand whyCore Temp is reporting the Internal error message "Cant read shared memory" The question is how do I get both to run together?

UPDATE: This may sound a little lame but rather than putting my computer to sleep, like I normally do, I decided to shut her down. After starting Windows I noticed that Core Temp started working. Normally after installing a new version of Core Temp it works right off the bat but I guess that a complete restart was needed. So bottom line is Core Temp and Display Fusion are happy together and are working just fine.
