Pentium 4 HT @ Zero degrees?

Postby murdo » Wed Apr 18, 2012 11:25 am

First off - fantastic app. Helped me out a LOT with monitoring various PC / Laptop cpu temps.

Came across the first ever PC where the app didn't report the temperature? Simply read "0" for both cores. I tried RC2 and RC3, same result.

Any ideas? Do you need to know the exact CPU?

Pentium 4 processor is not supported directly by Core Temp.
And TjMax and temperature values depend on how well the motherboard implements the ACPI thermal zone API.
In your case it's probably not implemented correctly, and Core Temp can't read the value.
