Post by ganjiry »

hi all
i came to report a bug with core temp miss reading the temps on my Fx-6100 but plenty of people have already done so. i'll include a core temp dump for your info. does anybody know when this is likely to be fixed?

hi and thanks for ur reply but that does'nt answer anything really. it says that since before the amd phenoms core temp has had this problem. i have'nt had this happen with any other amd cpu before. if anything this bug could cost quite a few people their cpu. some people would just believe the temp that core temp is displaying and end up coocking it. its not even possible for the temp to be that low. ambient room temp is around 20c

edit sorry ive just found the adjust offsets tab. my apologise

I'm sorry. Information regarding the offsets is in the FAQ, and CPU recognition issue will be taken care of in the next release.

ello again
yeah i did see the info on offsets but did'nt realise u could adjust the offsets in core temp itself. saying that though, this is still the first amd chip ive had where core temp reads it wrong. :(
thanks
