Re: rc3 not reconizing my cpu properly.
Hi,
I am new to this forum, but have been using core temp for about a year and have found it to be a useful gadget, however I have the same problem as litonburger and others.
If my memory is correct I was using Core Temp version 1.0 - 64bit initially. I have updated a few times and am now running Core Temp 1.0 RC3, with each version of Core Temp showing an incorrect processor type in certain circumstances.
The problem of incorrect processor identification seems to be due to the fact that I am overclocking my processor slightly.
My system bios has been set to have a bus speed of 143Mhz rather than 133Mhz.
