CoreTemp 1.0 RC3 incorrect bus speed with AMD A8-3500M

Post by GigaByte »

With CoreTemp 1.0 RC3 everything about my laptop's A8-3500M APU is correct except the bus speed, it is reporting it twice as high as it is. This bug was not present with 1.0 RC2.

Indeed a new bug. It only affects APUs.
Will be gone in the next release.

Thanks.

I have a laptop as well with an amd A6 apu and it also rates my memory speed as twice as fast as it should be. So how long will it be before the next release comes out.

I want to give this build a couple of weeks at least to make sure that everything is ok, except this issue of course.
