minimize to system tray doesnt work

Post by danceoflife »

Hi guys,
I just downloaded CoreTemp 1.0 & I'm using win 7.
I changed CoreTemp's settings to "close coreTemp to the system tray"
but what it really does is close it to the taskbar instead.
All i want is the ability to have it running on the background without it taking my space in the taskbar.
I've played with the settings endlessly but couldnt find this option - any help would be much appreciated :)

I too have the same exact problem as the user posted above. Win7-64bit. Played with the settings a bit, but it's not leaving my taskbar.

Edit:
Scratch that.
Make sure that "Enable Windows 7 Taskbar features" is not checked.
Or If you have that checked off, then un-check "Do not hide taskbar button when minimized"

Both are under Options>Windows 7 Taskbar

You can leave it checked if you want to keep the progressbar in the button while Core Temp is on screen. Just make sure to uncheck the bottom checkbox in the Windows 7 settings.
