Excess CPU cycles

Post by wapanap »

Most of the time Core Temp (RC2) consumes less than 1 percent of CPU cycles, but from time to time it is up around 25 percent, and the only way to stop this is to exit and restart the application. What might be causing this? (Win 7 64bit)

Hi,

same for me, running core temp 1.0 RC2 on win 7 home premium 64bit. From time to time I have to manually close the core temp process because it hangs on 25% of cpu usage and cannot be normally exited or opened.

Hope this will be fixed in final release.

*I know that this post is very old, and most likely irrelevant today, but I'm going over the forums and replying to all the threads I missed.

This was a bug in RC2, updating to RC3 should resolve this.
