Crashes everytime

Post by Frank »

Dear ,

I did run coretemp version 0.99.8.0 and enabled the 'start with windows' now every time login or manual run coretemp crashes.
I did manage run with sidebar.exe ended but cannot go to option > settings to disable 'start with windows' option.
What can I do to remove startup feature?

Thanks in advance.

Go to Task Scheduler and remove the Core Temp entries.
Delete "Core Temp.ini" file from Core Temp's folder and try to restart it.
Also, I recommend you update to v1.0.

I think I have broken Windows installation, task schedule service is corrupted, it needs further googling on this.
sfc / SCANNOW didn't find any integrity violation still task scheduler gives the Catastrophic failure
HRESULT:0x8000FFFF (E_UNEXPECTED)

I believe this problem is not related to coretemp itself.

Thank you anyway for help.
