Wrong Intel L7500 model info in Coretemp 1.0

Post by rangeroverhse »

Hey. I have downloaded the latest version of Core Temp, version 1.0. For some reason, the model for my processor is incorrect. This was also the same for version 0.99.

My processer is a Intel Core 2 Duo L7500 NOT L7200. Why is this showing up as a L7200?

I have included a picture of the problem I am facing and the coretemp dump txt file as well.

Can someone please provide a solution/answer as to why this is happening?

This occurs due to a recognition bug. It'll be fixed in the next release.
Thanks for the input.
