- Did you have Core Temp before? Did it work correctly then?
- If it worked before, did you change anything in the system? Settings in the BIOS, install/remove hardware, OS updates or changes?
- Can you please upload a screenshot of Core Temp and a register dump? (see "Tools" menu)

Well, you can see from the screenshots that the temps do change, between 14-31c. The current temperature is the left-most value, which is 18c.
That's way too low, though. You should go to Options --> Adjust offsets, and enter 15 as the offset for accurate temps.

Sorry but the temp is not changing during a windows session. It changes by rebooting, so the 31 Degree were set by a reboot and working several hours before, the 14/15 values were from another "coldstart". The actual value is the current value from the last boot ("coldstart"). This value will not be changed until the next boot.

Restarting coretemp has no affect ti the current temp.

Best regards
Gerd

Does restarting Core Temp change the Low/High readings?

Yes it does, Low temp was actualized from 31 to 33 degree in this example.

Since Core Temp only reports values it reads directly from the processor. I'd say the issue is most likely in faulty sensors. Or maybe sensors which do not work at low temps. Sometimes there's a problem where a sensor won't go below a certain value, but will get higher as temps increase. This is called a Sticky sensors syndrome.
Try to run something very intensive like Prime95 on the laptop for a few minutes, and see if temperatures begin to change when the CPU heats up or not.

I'm sorry to say that I don't think that there is a solution for this problem. This probably means that the sensors are not working properly, or might also be a problem with the BIOS.

I'm sorry, I've been feeding users with "soon", "week or two", etc. for quite a while.
All that I can say right now is that there's a reason for this delay; and that the next version is ready and I'm just waiting for my partner to come through with an Installer.
It should've been done today, but the installer wasn't ready yet, hopefully this week it will be out.
