Running CoreTemp under Vista 32 WinPE

Post by truffle »

When trying to run .99.8 under 32bit Vista PE, I get the error "The instruction at 0x00934317 referenced memory at 0x00000000. The memory could not be read." Previously I was running version .99.5 with no troubles, but it doesn't support some of the newer CPUs. Is there some way to get access to version .99.7 for testing?

Thanks

Does it crash with that error, or does Core Temp still work after that?
That error pops up because WinPE lacks the necessary APIs. There's no way to avoid it, but Core Temp should still work.
The upcoming version will definitely work under WinPE.
