Cant start Core Temp - it freeze computer

Post by IgorBGD »

I am using Core Temp for so long, and really like it! It saved me one time from broken cooler holder, and it is must have utility on all my computers from than!

I have upgraded yesterday to i7 970, and Gygabite X58A-UD7 mainboard, Win 7 is 64bit.

When I started Core Temp 64bit ( standalone download, not instaler, and run as administrator ), it just freeze mu computer, so I have to reset it.
Checked two times.

What can be wrong here?

What version of Core Temp did you download?
Also what does the system's Event Viewer say after you restart? Can you find any errors?
