Can't get it to work in W7

Post by rowan.bradley »

I've again downloadecd CoreTemp latest version (0.99.8.0), and installed it in W7 32-bit. The installation seems to complete OK. At the end I select "run CoreTemp" and the installer quits, but nothing appears on my desktop, and nothing appears in my system tray. If I double-click CoreTemp.exe it doesn't do anything either. If I try to run it in a CMD window it seems to run for an instant and then finish with no output. If I examine Applications and Processes in Task Manager, I can't see anything with a name like Core Temp, so (unless it's got a completely different name) it does not seem to be running, or seems to be quitting immediately.

How do I overcome this?

Thanks - Rowan

First of all I would like to apologize for not replying sooner.

Have you been able to resolve the issue, or did you give up?
Will you be willing to give it another go, and maybe work with me a little bit to see if this problem can be found and fixed for the next release?
