CoreTemp gadget can't handle dynamic FSB overclock

Post by Ache »

Hi.
ASUS provide nice utility AiSuite which overclocks CPU depending of its load (on ASUS mb of course).
The problem is that CoreTemp gadget reads FSB speed only at the start, so show false processor speed when FSB is changed on the fly. Could you please read FSB each time (if it is not resource consuming)?

It can detect dynamic FSB, its a little bit more resource heavy - but not by much.
You have to go into Settings -> Advanced and enable On the fly FSB detection.

Ah, I see that's inside main CoreTemp program, not gadget. I forget to search there... Thanx.
