Core Temp 64-bit 0.99.8 on Windows 7 64-bit. Intel Celeron SU2300 (Penryn). Acer Aspire 1410 notebook.

It WAS working, briefly, kinda. It would launch just fine, but as soon as I entered the settings menu it would crash with the same error. Now I can't even get it to go that far, it simply crashes on program startup. I haven't made any changes to my system, and I can't track down any services or processes that may be interfering.

This sounds similar to the issue reported here, although I'm not running Asus WebStorage. I tried deleting the INI files, didn't help. I tried running as administrator, again nothing.

Could I download an older version of Core Temp to see if it works? I'm almost certain I only had these issues when I upgraded to 0.99.8 (I forget what version I was running previously).

First of all I would like to apologize for not replying sooner.

Have you been able to resolve the issue, or did you give up?
Will you be willing to give it another go, and maybe work with me a little bit to see if this problem can be found and fixed for the next release?
