Can't Delete Core Temp

Post by Loth@rio »

I accidentally downloaded core temp gadget twice. When I try to delete the core temp folder from program files, it says, "this action can't be completed because the folder or a file in it is open in another program." When I run a search for 'core temp' that's the only file listed and I don't have the 'all cpu' gadget running.
Any help would be appreciated.

Core Temp and Core Temp Gadget are not the same thing.
If you have Core Temp running, you can't delete it from the program files.
Uninstalling the gadget:
1. Close all instances of the Gadget.
2. In Vista - Restart Windows or Kill the "sidebar.exe" process by using the Task Manager.
In Windows 7 - Right click Desktop, View, uncheck "Show Desktop Gadgets".
3. Start Sidebar again from the Desktop context menu (right click Desktop).
4. Uninstall the Core Temp Gadget.
