steping good or bad?

Hello,

I have a AMD ATHLON 64 3500+ winchester with stepping:

CBBID 0501FPMW

is this a good stepping or not??

The CBBIDs were probably the worst batch of Winchesters AMD has ever produced unfortunatly. Some could barely hit 2.4GHz, but there were also some good chips among them hitting 2.6 - 2.7GHz. So you won't know before you try, just don't get your hopes up too much.
