Need help

Hello, The Coolest!

could you please aid me about where can I get docs/datasheets/manuals about getting K8 diode temp as you do in CoreTemp (or even share some your code, under non distribute condition, of course)?

I need it to implement monitoring of CPUTemp with internal diode instead of external in my own soft which auto controls fans speed (it works only for Winbond, W83627THF which installed in my mobo).

It seems, my MSI K8N makes some correction for external diode temp every time system rebooted :(, i.e. - from first launch ater long system off - TCpu=40C, but when I reboot it after 10min of work, TCpu=40C.

Your CoreTemp always shows 30C!

Unless you have an old version of Core Temp, then there could be a problem with the DTS?
Regarding the info about how to get the DTS value, if you look at the RevF BIOS Guide you'll find it in the MISC NB register.

No this is seems not a Core Temp/DTS but bios problem. Bios uses CPUtemp info from Winbond chip and seems modifies it for its own purposes.

Ok. Thank you. I'll try to find it.
