Hi,
Just a quicky why does your core temp beta version 0.99.5.20 32 bit show 12 degrees higher in windows 7 (50deg) for all 4 cores on my Q6600 go against my xp pro sp3 (38 deg)

Both xp and win 7 rc are using the same beta program so why the 12 deg jump from xp to win 7?? Or is there another version that has sorted this discrepency??

Many Thanks

Not quite sure why that would happen except you may have set an "offset" in XP or in Windows 7.
Also make sure that you have 0.99.5.20 in both OSes.

Hi again,
no can't understand the temp difference at all between xp and win7 both core temp programs are identical with identical settings configured no offsetts have been specified in xp or win7 but I still get wildly different temp readings from one os to another I would like to believe xp's readings as they are lower and better for the logevity of my cpu however it has me a little worried now which temp readings are accurate xp's lower temps or win7's higher potentially TOO high temps could someone please point me in the right direction

Many Thanks
