Only 1 Core Showing on my AMD

Post by CoreTemp-User234 »

Hey Everyone,

I have an AMD x4 810 (2.6Ghz) Socket AM3.
Its running right now on a Gigabyte GA-MA78GM-S2H which has been flashed with the F7 BIOS to support the AM3 Socket.

I run CoreTemp, it says I have 4 Cores, but will only give me the Temp Reading for Core #0. None of the others will show.
Is this because the Chip is too new perhaps?

Regards,
ST

This is not a bug.
Phenom processors only have a single thermal sensor, this is why you can only see a single temperature reading, and if you look closely it says "CPU #0", not "Core #0".

I stand corrected, thanks for the heads up, I guess I just never noticed it was saying CPU instead of Core...

Ah well, for what I payed, it was a worthwhile investment still.

Thanks for the heads up.
