core temp error msg

Post by CoreTemp-User188 »

I hope this is in the right place.

I installed Core Temp on my granddaughter's Dell Inspiron Dual Core, Vista Home Premium laptop. When I boot, I get the following msgs.

---------------------------
Error
---------------------------
The driver has failed to load!
Core Temp can not be started.
---------------------------
OK
---------------------------
---------------------------
Error
---------------------------
The driver has failed to load!
Core Temp can not be started.
---------------------------
OK
---------------------------

When I close the last window, Core Temp is still running and working as it should. Is there a way to stop this error msg?

Hello,

Have you tried using the latest beta?
Here's the link:

Also, if you want Core Temp to start up automatically with Vista, you have to either disable UAC or in case you want to leave it enabled, then use the following guide to make it start automatically:

I hope this helps solve the issue.
