I'm using Core Temp 0.99.4.65 32-bit, it works very well, but I'm getting an issue with the temp logs, after a few hours the High temp shows 207°C and(obviously) stays there for the rest of the log. I'm completely sure the CPU didn't reach that temperature but what's interesting is that Core Temp seems to know this as well, the "instant temperature columns" never show 207°C.
P.S: Awesome improvements to the temp logs in this version, I'ts just great having separate files for each day!!!
That's a bug with some AMD chips.
Since the log file is only saved every 10 seconds, and Core Temp refresh every second you didn't see the change at the "current" temperature field.
I'll check out this beta version, but I used a previous version of Core Temp(0.99.3) and I've never had the same issue, seems weird to only have a bug in my AMD chip on the current version...
There was a workaround for this issue in 0.99.3. I guess I just managed to miss it since 0.99.4 has a brand spanking new code base, so many things got dumped/rewritten, so the potential for some small details being lost in the process is inevitable.
Anyway, I'll add this workaround to the next public build, so do not worry
