Core Temp 0.99.4 / E6750

Post by CoreTemp-User107 »

Hi, I am using a Core 2 Duo E6750. Core Temp 0.99.3 says the max Tj. is 100°C but Core Temp 0.99.4 says the max Tj. is 95°C. Which temperature is the right one?

- Change: TjMax values for 65nm Core 2 series adjusted.
This is from the change log.
I've changed the default TjMax values for Conroe\Kentsfield chips. If you feel that the previous values were correct for you just use the Offset feature in Tools --> Settings.

If i look in the .pdf which intel offer during IDF, intel offer the tjmax for more CPU's - for the Q6600 with G0 it is 90°C and not 100°C

I know.
Those numbers are just plain wrong. Think logically, you'll most likely have a reading of below ambient in idle.
